My Approach
Â
Professional Background:Â
For two decades, I've partnered with leaders at the intersection of vision, responsibility, and systems change.
My clients include:
- CEO of a social enterprise and one of the 50 Most Influential People in SF for reimagining cities
- Founder of a social-impact network with a community spanning 190+ countries
- SVP Customer Experience at Slack, shaping how millions communicate and work
- Presidents and CEOs of philanthropic foundations distributing millions annually toward equitable systems
I work with people whose decisions ripple through industries, cities, and global systems—leaders carrying both immense responsibility and immense possibility.
J.D. from Stanford Law School, BA in Sociology and a Certificate in Peace & Justice Studies from Tufts University.
  What Makes My Work Different:
I see the pattern you're living before you name it. I track for the lie—the discrepancy between what you're saying and what your knowing knows.
I am insatiably curious and ask the questions that stop you in your tracks and open entirely new ways of seeing. I midwife the possibilities you can't yet name.
I hold your impossible as possible even when you can't.
And I bring both strategic precision and soulful presence—so you leave with clarity, courage, and your very next step.
I taught negotiation and collaboration at Stanford for a decade. I learned interdependence solo-parenting—learning to need and receive support.
I catalyzed global impact networks and studied under Donella Meadows at the Academy for Systems Change. I learned to shift from control to creating conditions during a six-year fertility journey.
I coach visionary leaders navigating unprecedented uncertainty and studied psychological development.Â
Years ago, in the midst of fertility loss, a coach asked me one question that changed my life: "Can you create while grieving?" It opened something profound—I realized I didn't have to wait for the grief to be gone to begin again. I could hold both. Because I listened and created what I felt called to create, my daughter arrived just in time to overlap with my dad for twelve precious days.Â
This is what I bring: a very personal understanding of what it means to lead when systems are collapsing and the future feels uncertain—through grief and growth, heartbreak and possibility. I bring the eagle's eye view to see patterns and full complexity, and the grounded presence to link arms with my clients, moment by moment.
Testimonials
“When I came to Jeanine, I was in urgency — trying to secure $1M just to meet immediate needs. She helped me pause, step back, and ask a bigger question: not what’s feasible, but what’s needed. That one conversation expanded my vision. I invited in my team, engaged our policy and program partners, and the result? A $3.5M initiative — unanimously approved — that’s now resourcing grantees, supporting safety and security, and influencing other funders across the field. That shift still stays with me.”
